Case of: Woolmer's in the morgue.

It is now emerging that Bob Woolmer, Pakistani cricket coach might have been murdered.

Anyone recalled Pa-trick boasting about being in charge of security. Plenty mouth no delivery, reminds me of Ato back in the days. Trinidad crime spreading its wings maybe? Maybe the man didn't know was supposed to be a kidnapping and he fight back....? Pa-trick in charge, he have 'intelligence'.

After reading this in the Trinidad Guardian: "The timesofIndia.com quoted Sarfraz Nawaz, a former Pakistani pace bowler, as blaming Woolmer’s demise on the gambling mafia in the Asian subcontinent.

The report quoted Nawaz as naming International Cricket Council officials, Pakistani players and officials as being deeply entrenched in match-fixing." and further reading a quick denial: "Pakistani media manager Pervez Mir described the allegations as baseless."

A thought occurred to me - are people in positions of authority/control (control of power, of financial assets, of influence etc) exempted from corruption by the very nature of being in their positions??

Seems to me the evidence points to the opposite, that temptation to be corrupt is more than usually irresistible, eh Jack?
