Red Herrings II

Today's headlines in the Daily Express seems to further strengthen my view that Shermie was indeed involved in some less than ethical land deal during Panday's trial. Click on the photo to get the full story.

I have much admiration for Camini Marajh's investigative tenacity. I suppose the reason her columns don't apear more often is because she is following her research and preparing her articles; still, a few more reporters like her are much needed.

All along I have been pointing out that it was only when Mr Sharma questioned Shermie about this deal, that Shermie went squealing to the AG to complain that Mr Sharma was trying to influence the outcome of the Panday trial. Now it is surfacing that he also went to the AG to cover his a**e.

This mess has become so twisted and tangled, with so many lies, half truths and innuendo that the only result is the lawyers are getting fat, public money is spent wantonly, and no one seems to get closer to the truth. Best solution? Fire the whole bleeding lot, hire some new young bright persons, and have new laws put in place to have their actions audited and checked every 6 months. :-) And make the positions valid for a 2 year period, not based upon the general elections.

Okay, my quick fix may not pass muster with everyone, but it is still better than putting the lot against a wall and calling a firing squad.
