Law clerk Delma Dilkes trembled and wept when she appeared before magistrate Akhail Khan, charged with stealing a cellphone at the San Fernando Supreme Court on Monday.
Dilkes muttered: "I apologise," before her attorney, Steadson Jack, asked for time to speak with her.
Dilkes, who is a clerk for Steadson Jack's law firm, was told a not guilty verdict would be entered on her behalf.
Now, if you're not guilty, what the hell you apologising for?? This is a waste of tax payers dollars and an abuse of the court system from this point on.
