Elections are over, and things are back to normal I see. In the news today, I am faced with the following headline articles:

- Man fearing police hit dies from shooting
- COP Laventille candidate injured in family dispute
I guess the election fervor is over, so things are back to normal, including the crime rate.
I did not hear Panday's speech after he lost yet another election, but from the various comments by other letter writers, I believe he was his usual vituperative self. Back to normal then for him too.
