I would like to thank whosoever suggested that we seek people to run the police service based on qualification, and not on how long individuals have been doing absolutely nothing while collecting salaries and perks. My wish to Santa this yuletide season is that we should do so in other areas as well, with a specific view of replacing the sorry pack that poses as politicians. One comfort we the people can take at this point in time, is that perhaps someone qualified will eventually be selected to run the organisations; someone who was never a part of the systematic dotishness that has been an historic part of the organisations, where promotion is based on seniority and not meritocracy.
On another brief point: someone needs to tell Imbert to cease and desist with the letter writing, and get on with the business of doing what he is being paid to do.
