I saw this little gem in a letter to the editor of the Guardian, and I could not resist posting it.
Why is it that it is only in the face of adversity that we are able to come together, irrespective of colour, creed or race, and operate as if we are all the same, yet on any ordinary day we allow religion, politics, race and any other differentiating factor to divide us?
