Today at work, I informed a few people of my imminent departure, to my new job.
The surprise was the number of people who asked me what was wrong with my present job, and asking why did I see the need to move.
I cannot understand the concept of not having ambition, or staying in the same job simply because it provides for me at this time... my needs grow, not necessarily materially.
I need to move on. It is not only the job that is stifling now... the people are stagnating my grey cells.
