Yesterday, I was speaking to the owner of a little shop I frequently make purchases from.
The owner was telling me that a bag of rice, 45 kg, which he would normally pay £25 for and resell at £28, has gone up to £40. That is a massive 62.5% increase. Look now for increases in cereals etc.
I've been predicting a worldwide recession for some time now. And it will be big.
