A little detail caught my eye from the story:
Sources say one of the officers heads a special unit in the North Eastern Division (NED), while the other, a constable with over 20 years service, is attached to a unit in the Port of Spain Division.
20 years service and still a constable?? What the hell? That's either a damning indictment on this duncey's inability to learn and improve himself, or a damning indictment on the promotional prospects of the police service. And since others have been promoted...
