I recently went to the supermarket and found a couple of unexpected items.
Most Trinidadians will be familiar with ‘Blue’ that our parents (usually mothers) used to whiten our clothes, especially our white school shirts.
Chief seasoning and hot sauce.
Made in Chaguanas, Trinidad.
Well stocked, and well laid out too.
Close to the supermarket is the local KFC, opposite which lies the Birmingham General Dispensary, a quaint old building which also houses the post office on the left (behind the ivy).
