Confused and bewildered

Ah lil confused and bewildered here. I just wrote a post calling for the sacking of Max, and here we have today's Guardian editorial saying we have a new Prez already.

Man, dey say the pen is mightier than the sword, but the keyboard seems to be champion, mine like it have lightening driving it. Check dis out:

All three of the resignations relate to a judgment exercised by President George Maxwell Richards in accordance with the Integrity in Public Life Act, which gives T&T's head of state the right to make appointments to the commission after consultation with the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition. President Richards, far more than his immediate successor, has demonstrated himself to be disposed to keeping his distance from political activity and public contention.

So Max already has a successor (meaning following after) as opposed to predecessor (meaning coming before). That my friends, is the power of my keyboard!
