Peaking the dotishness? Not hardly…

In keeping with my observation that the PM and Pa-trick have both indicated that a point has been reached that surpassed mere ego, and now climbed into the rare stratosphere of ultra dotishness, I give you:

Prime Minister Patrick Manning, in his Emancipation Day message, has said that this country is now able to give back to Africa.

"We are now able to return something to Africa, which gave us so much in the first place. As I have already indicated, we are making our expertise and experience available to countries of the African Union in the development of their petroleum industry," Manning stated.

In praising the contribution of people of the African diaspora to the nation, Manning said: "Through their efforts, along with brethren of other origins, we have made our country strong. Today Trinidad and Tobago is in a position to contribute to the betterment of our region and the world."

Manning advised that at this time the nation should rededicate itself to a country where justice and equality reign for all people in our diverse society. "Let us also continue our nation's support of all global oppression wherever it exists in our world. This country should give thanks for its diverse society. Trinidad and Tobago continues to be an example to the world of enlightened togetherness and appreciation of the beauty in the dynamic variety of life," said Manning.

"This is a time when the entire nation celebrates, as we do on other occasions that spring from our diverse history and culture, attesting to the policy of unity in diversity on which we continue to build our nation. Let us protect, as our most precious achievement, the unity of Trinidad and Tobago" he said.

At first I was a lil speechless, especially at words like:

  1. “Today Trinidad and Tobago is in a position to contribute to the betterment of our region and the world."
  2. "Let us also continue our nation's support of all global oppression wherever it exists in our world.”
  3. …the nation should rededicate itself to a country where justice and equality reign for all people in our diverse society.

Then I recovered, and I remembered:

  1. A certain hair-cutting/radio incident…
  2. Feroza Ramjohn…
  3. Citadel/Maha Sabha…
  4. Andre Monteil…
  5. Shazard Mohammed (and all those who were screwed over by the justice system…
  6. Shermie McNicolls…
  7. A certain basketball league (which I am still looking for) by one Brian Manning…
  8. Satnarine Sharma…
  9. Occah Seepaul under house arrest…
  10. Panday being the ONLY person arrested, charged and convicted under the Integrity Act (despite over 200 culprits who flaunted the law, quite a few of whom are PNM members and party hacks)…
  11. Baby Faith and her pus-oozing arm…
  12. Allan Warner and his fractured skull… medical staff suspended…

I am tired now but readers can feel free to add to the list… and then try to see the point in helping the world (and Africa but no India, china, Syria etc) when we can’t yet wipe the shit off our own arses, mainly because the PM, Manning et al are still shitting on us quicker than we can wipe…
