If you’re a student and get caught with an advance copy of an exam paper, your bail is $1 million.
If you’re a duncey police corporal, and get caught with a quantity of drugs stolen from police evidence lockups going back for a 10 years period, your bail is $100,000.
By the way, his lawyer indicates he has 15 years unblemished service but the charges themselves contradict this:
It is alleged that between May 12, 1999 and August 13, 2009..
I don’t know if we can count the past 10 years as unblemished if he was a human rat eating drugs out of the police stations… The first 5 years was probably an apprenticeship in learning how to tief.
Also:
"He has served the (police) office for 15 years faithfully. What has transpired here is an error on his part. He is not a person who will abscond the jurisdiction and can be found very easily," James-Sebastien said.
Huh? An error on his part for 10 years running? That ent just an error at this point, it’s an outright plot to tief! But to prove (once again – sigh!) what I keep repeating about how duncey dotish, is that the idiot even left the evidence tag still on the drugs. I mean man, even a shoplifter knows to take the tags off.
And ah ent want to believe he will present the excuse that he was keeping it safe, though being a duncey, I won’t be at all surprised if he does.
