Christopher Walker, aged 19, robbed a security guard of £25,000 by whacking him behind his knee with a stick, and taking off with the cash box…. to his house a mere 5 doors down from the bank.
After being fired from his job with the local Council as (of all things) a whackerman, Walker admitted to ‘giving in to temptation’ because he was broke. The sentence given was 2 1/2 years by the way.
