My mind strays from the suffering of a godforsaken rock to another rock - Rwanda. I've been contemplating the horror of Rwanda at this time, having seen Hotel Rwanda (the movie) three times.

It's not a merry christmas for half of the world. I therefore refuse to have a merry christmas and a happy new year. To each his own. For those who can be merry when our world is the way it is, hats off to you. I stand in solidarity with those who suffer.
