Cheryl Miller – justice at last!

Then justice was delivered today!! Miller won over the North West Regional Health Authority – $TT 835,000 in ‘general’, ‘special’ and ‘exemplary’ damages.

Strangely Verna St. Rose-Greaves, who publicly accepted responsibility, escaped!!

Preliminary reports in the media suggested that the case turned heavily on S15 of the Mental Health Act 1975.

Well, this is definitely a thumbs up for Jumbie’s Watch and those who contribute to this site! But we rejoice even more in Miller’s victory – which is a victory for the Rule of Law!
