A stroke of Genius!!!

Eureka! I have it.

I had a mesmerising stroke of pure genius a moment ago. I finally figured why some things never progress in Trinidad and why even third world mentality gives way to a good hot load of horse crap every time.

It's because the people who are supposed to make the (positive) changes, have the brains of a full bedpan.

Ah, I see you don't believe me. Okay, let me use just one example, but it is a surefire way to demonstrate what I mean.

Take Stephen Thomas, PSA squawkbox, as my example. A baby gets burnt badly from a hot water bottle placed in an incubator. Okay, someone had to have placed the bottle in the incubator right? Not according to this particular bedpan. He says:

'that the population was being influenced to believe “there is evidence to show someone must have done something wrong so the baby suffered as opposed to recognising systemic failures which led to that.”'

In other words, blame the system but not the person who put the hot water bottle that scarred a baby for life.

Sadly, this trend of thinking applies to the majority of the PSA. The good news is regular people won't believe this type of gollywhopper. Only bedpans.

PS: After posting this blog, I came across this. And I have a suggestion... why don't you start counting the number of times the 'system' is blamed for something going wrong, instead of the person causing it. I am sure the statistics will shock us all.
