It's official - Microsoft has released a Beta version (experimental version for you newbies), of Windows XP service pack 3.
It's about time.
For those of you who aren't in the know, Windows XP has a LOT of additional patches since service pack 2. Service pack 3 will include all updates, even the ones in service pack 1 and 2.
I however, still prefer Autopatcher, as it includes many tweaks and additional software (eg flash, java etc) not included in the Windows service packs.
Beware though, this download isn't for dial up users, as either is well over 400 MB. And chances are, if you're running a less than legal version of XP, it won't install.
Any questions, use the email link on this blog page.
