Pa-trick admits to being Executive Dictator!!

Stunning but true, nevertheless. The writing is on the wall, in big bold letters, for those wishing to see.

Some time ago, Kamla Persad-Bissessar revealed that she obtained a 'secret' copy of a draft of a new constitution as ordered by Pa-trick. Despite denials by Pa-trick and Christine Kangaloo, yesterday Pa-trick revealed that the draft constitution is indeed true. Not only that, he promised that there were more revisions to come.

Christine Kangaloo:
"That's all that has happened; read my lips. This government has no position on any draft constitution. All that dotishness that Kamla (Persad-Bissessar) is talking about is she may be still shell-shocked from getting passed over. If there is a secret constitution, it's a secret to us too."
Pa-trick:
"If a new constitution has to come to this country, the PNM will use the tried and tested method of consultation, ensuring that the people have the opportunity to say what they want and taking the people's views into consideration before any new arrangements are made."
This was said at a PNM rally in Mayaro on October 16th.

On Friday October 28th, when he delivered his feature address at the launch of the ruling party's manifesto yesterday at the Hilton Trinidad, St Ann's, Pa-trick said:
that a document that Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar has described as a secret draft, dated June 2007, is actually just one of three versions of a third draft constitution in the making.

"One of the documents has ended up in the public domain, I am sure more will end up, my dear friends, a work in progress. It is dated what, June 2007, there is one subsequent to that you know. There might be two subsequent to that, so those who have been sending things in the mail boxes have been running a little late, the mail is a little slow," Manning said.
Now, I'm not so slow as to realise that Pa-trick just admitted that the draft constitution is indeed his.

If you examine what he is clearly saying, he is still in the process of revising said constitution. Hey, all this without public input or approval too.

Another thing... the present 'outed' version has eroded the people's 'rights' significantly. What then is to come in the revised versions?

The Express editorial of Saturday October 27th said in part:
Is this the type of democracy that the country wants? Where, in spite of legally determined procedures to protect [and conserve our resources], a far-reaching decision is made with the public only being ritually informed of it by a legal notice?
I'm am sure under the euphoria of elections patrimony (not given to 'grassroots', all ye hopefuls) that the entire population will miss this one. No indeed, if you miss the writing on the wall, it's because you have become blinded by PNM.

Having a dictatorial autocracy is not enough, he must have that EXECUTIVE PRESIDENCY!!
