Monkey Island Justice at the fore

Four days ago, I mentioned that duncey Sunil Tota-Maharaj would be freed of the charge of killing Mervyn Caton, a 19 years old youth.

I based my statement on my perception of collusion between the defence and prosecution, that conclusion itself based upon the way the prosecution was asking the questions. It seemed to me at the time that the questions were specifically designed to support the defendant.

Today it is no surprise to see that I am right once again. It is disappointing though, that once again Monkey Island Justice has risen to the fore, and that the victims continue to suffer.

It is things like this that discourage me from going back to Trinidad, and why I am becoming more and more supportive of vigilante justice.
