Thought of the Day

Don't go around saying the world owes you a living; the world owes you nothing; it was here first.
Mark Twain [Samuel Langhornne Clemens] (1835-1910)

We are discreet sheep; we wait to see how the drove is going, and then go with the drove.

One of my favourite writers has always been Mark Twain. Long after I discovered Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer, I also discovered that Twain was a keen observer of people.

In linking to one of my past Thought of the Day, I hope you too will see how accurate his observations are, 100 years on.
