Jumbie’s First Law strikes yet again!

Every so often, another fine example of Jumbie’s First Law pops up to verify its absoluteness.

Take yesterday’s Express story on the (then) 12 years old girl who was raped by her sister’s boyfriend.

In the numerous comments, (now deleted by the Express’ admin/moderators – yes, ALL comments were deleted), one commentator calling himself/herself LorreF defied the laws of nature and came up with this gem:

Firstly, we don't know if the 13 year old was a victim of statutory rape. Sometimes, the media isn't always accurate.

After staring in disbelief (and words almost failing me), I put this up:

“What is statutory rape?”

No answer yet. I suspect I will never get one from that corner.
